Comprehensive Management System

Since the first works constructed in the late nineteen-seventies, cyes has felt a commitment to society and considered it a vital matter to keep a high level of customer satisfaction. As the years have gone by, these original commitments have spread to all interested parties and have become essential values in the company's culture.

In 1997 cyes opted for ISO systems as management tools for guaranteeing proper implementation of its business culture. It succeeded in certifying its Quality Management System to ISO 9000 standard and opened up the way for all the other certifications.

In 1999 cyes set up its Environmental Policy, as a means to guarantee fulfilment of its commitment to respect for the environment and to contribution to sustainable development, again backed by the ISO benchmark to implement and later on certify the system.

Another of the essential values at cyes since its early days was Health and Safety at work. This has been just as much a priority as customer satisfaction, the protection of the environment or the company's competitiveness and profitability.

As is indeed quite natural at cyes, they are aware that the main differentiating factor is the commitment and quality of their human resources, which is why it is a major concern to preserve them. This concern is explicitly put down on paper in the Safety Policy, and materialised in the certification of the management system to OHSAS standard.

In a close relationship with Quality and commitment to its customers, cyes furthers constant development of improvements and new building techniques, giving it access to projects of greater scale and technological complexity. Yet again, this commitment is certified according to the UNE benchmark of the Innovation and R&D management system.

The Comprehensive Management System covers other spheres in the organisation, such as: Administration, Human Resources and information Systems. As for this last field, cyes is in the process of developing and implementing a management system to ISO 20000 level, ensuring that Information Systems offer services designed to meet organisational needs, optimising the value of its resources and helping to fulfil corporate objectives.
