The cyes Innovation and R&D award has the aim of getting all the company's staff more involved in innovation activities. In this annually-organised event, the projects are assessed in accordance with different technical criteria, as well as for their repercussions on the improvement of the company's technological capacity.

The Innovation and R&D award for 2009 went to the MUCAR project, driven by Maritime Works Management. This project consists of the study and design of a new system for reducing the reflection of waves on the traditional caisson moles. The award was given to the person responsible for the project, Silvia Martínez.

 

In the 2008 edition, the construction works management tool, “GPto”, won the award for its success in its technical objectives, as well as for the recognition obtained by public institutions for promoting Innovation and R&D.
