NANOPRECORR Project
Nanotechnology for protecting concrete
The aim of this project is to develop an innovative auto-repair system for the intelligent prevention of corrosion in reinforced concrete based on the application of nanotechnology, to counteract the main drawback involved in this material in the long term, improving its useful life.
AENOR Project certified by AENOR according to UNE 166001.
The project has been supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, financed with FEDER funds.

Cales añejas

Cales añejas

The "Cales añejas" (Old limes) project consists of studying the mechanical and ageing characteristics of the mortar made with this type of lime. A procedure to determine the age of an old lime was developed, and new ways of executing the stucco plastering work done in restoration projects were proposed. This innovation gives cyes further technical capacity in the knowledge and handling of this type of material. This project has been successfully applied to the present Chamber of Commerce in Alicante.
